Yom Ha’atzmaut

Over 1500 celebrated Yom Ha’atzmaut with Bnei Akiva in London and Manchester. Incredible tefilla, inspirational speeches and quality dancing made it a night to remember, at the biggest Bnei Akiva party of the year.

World Veida

Every four years, World Bnei Akiva comes together in Jerusalem for a Veida (Conference). It is an opportunity to decide the future of Bnei Akiva around the world – from personnel to ideological decisions – and for chaverim in different countries to learn from each other and share practices.

Bnei Akiva UK is proud to be represented at Veida primarily by the Mazkirut, who run the movement. The seven delegates for the 12th Veida are: Michael Rainsbury (Mazkir), Rav Ilan Goldman (Rav Shaliach), Rafi Saltman (Israel Worker), Benjy Caplan (Camps Organiser), Leat Cohen (Svivot Co-ordinator), Raoul Wootliff (Av Bayit for Hachshara programmes Torani & Lehava) and Jonny Lipzcer (Head of the British Desk at World Bnei Akiva. British Bnei Akiva members Sam Freeman and Sam Potashnick are also taking part. BAUK is also responsible for the Chinuch & Hadracha Committee of the Veida.
