Recent Svivot Events
January
Welfare Day was attended by 90 madrichim in London and 25 madrichim Manchester.Madrichim were trained in how to deal with various hadracha and welfare issues which could arise in sviva and at machane. A big thank you to Naomi Russel for running 5 welfare sessions!
Hendon held a Zumba class, with 70 mums, grandmas, Roshim, Bogrot, madrichot and chanichot learning some techniques and enjoying some exercise
Radlett’s infatables tochnit saw 70 chanichim enjoying canndyfloss, popcorn, delicious food, sumo wrestling and lots more inflatable fun.
Stanmore Shabbat Ha’Irgun has been a a great success. As well as the incredible Bnei Akiva davening in Shul, 60 people enjoyed a ruach filled Friday Night Dinner and activities and 90 attended Shabbat Lunch. On motzei Shabbat a coach load set off for a fun night out Go-Karting and Bowling was the activity of choice for years 2-6.
Chigwell Shabbat Ha’Irgun meant Friday Night dinner, Shabbat lunch and a tochnit including sumo wrestling, rodeo bull and bungee run were a great success.
February
A busy month for Bnei Akiva svivot :
The weekend of 4th Feb saw over 500 chaverim enjoying Shabbat Bnei Akiva style…
Redbridge Shabbat lunch was a hit with the Ilford community, Cheadle Shabbat Ha’Irgun with an Alice in Wonderland motzei Shabbat tochnit, Maida Vale Shabbat Ha’Irgun at Lauderdale Road, Spanish and Portuguese Synagogue, Edgware Shabbat Ha’Irgun including roller skating and Golders Green Family Friday Night.
Shabbat Bnei Akiva style continues… Hendon Shabbat Ha’Irgun with Happy Puzzle Company and fun in Westfield was a hit with all who attended and Borehamwood filled with ruach and a Party Bus around the sites of London on motzei Shabbat was a definite success.
Woodside Park was filled with Bnei Akiva ruach during Shabbat Mishpatim, and motzei Shabbat saw everyone enjoying a graffiti workshop. Another great weekend!
Barnet and Southgate and South Hampstead Shabbtot Ha’Irgun on 25th February were thoroughly enjoyed by all with inflatables in Barnet and Quasar for South Hampstead.
March
Leeds with Nursery Rhyme themed tochnit with a scary twist and great Shabbat atmosphere was enjoyed by the community. Norrice Lea held a casino night and Pinner took to the scale- electric after a fun filled family Friday night and great Shabbat
Family Friday Night in Belmont, followed by Shabbat lunch, quasar and pizza making on Sunday was a weekend not to be missed. Meanwhile Whitefield and Birimgham had a great weekend on Bnei Akiva davening, food, peulot and singing.
Last Shabbat Bushey enjoyed Family Friday Night, lunch outside in the sun and Dinosaur Safari Crazy Golf, Salford had a fun packed weekend with a messy app-themed tochnit in the Northern Bayit, Golders Green enjoyed Party Man activity centre and the famous Bnei Akiva ruach all weekend long.
Kinloss had an incredible Shabbat with 200 peopmle experience the infamous Bnei Akiva atmosphere as well as canoeing and boating on Camden Lock on motzei Shabbat and bowling on Sunday
Pinner Bnei Akiva charity T-shirt making for Camp Simcha was a great event on May 6th. The community designed T-shirts for Camp Simcha children as well as raising money for the charity.
